What We Will Not Recover
AfterDusk does not knowingly recover the following items. Requests involving these items will be declined.
Illegal Items
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Stolen goods or stolen property
- Counterfeit or fraudulent items
- Items obtained through illegal means
Weapons & Explosives
- Firearms or handguns
- Ammunition
- Explosives or explosive devices
- Knives or bladed weapons
- Any weapon designed to cause harm
Hazardous Materials
- Chemical agents
- Biological hazards
- Radioactive materials
- Corrosive substances
- Flammable materials beyond normal limits
Restricted/Licensed Items
- Items requiring special licenses or permits
- Regulated substances
- Items subject to export restrictions
What To Do If You're Unsure
If you're unsure whether your item can be recovered, contact us before submitting a request:
Reporting Suspicious Items
If we recover an item we believe to be stolen, dangerous, or illegal, we will report it to the appropriate authorities. We will also decline payment for such requests.
