1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AfterDusk Item Recovery services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Service Description

AfterDusk provides urgent recovery services for forgotten or left-behind items. Each request is manually reviewed. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or successful recovery.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Base fee: $100 CAD
• Distance charge: $1.25 CAD per kilometre
• Final price may vary based on route changes, tolls, parking, waiting time, or recovery complications
• We will contact you before adding significant charges beyond the estimate
• Payment is due upon acceptance of your request

4. Liability Limitations

AfterDusk is not liable for:

• Items that cannot be located or recovered
• Damage to items during recovery or transport (unless caused by our negligence)
• Loss of value of recovered items
• Delays in recovery or delivery

5. Customer Responsibilities

• You confirm you have the right to request recovery of the item
• You provide accurate information about the item and location
• You authorize AfterDusk to contact locations and attempt recovery
• You are responsible for verifying recovered items

6. Restricted Items

We do not recover stolen goods, weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, hazardous materials, or anything unsafe or illegal. See our Restricted Items Policy for details.

7. Cancellation

Requests can be cancelled before payment. After payment is made, refunds are subject to our refund policy and the discretion of our owner.

8. Dispute Resolution

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
